Ontario-Michigan Bi-National Border Transportation Study
For a bi-national partnership involving various levels of government, this current study is investigating the existing and future infrastructure needs of the border crossings between Ontario and Michigan at Windsor/Detroit and Sarnia/Port Huron. IBI Group's role in the study focuses on demand forecasting and interpreting its effects on infrastructure supply in terms of the capacities of access/egress roads, toll and customs facilities and the crossing structures themselves, including goods movement and commercial vehicle demand forecasts for all relevant transport modes.
