LYYLI - Ymparistovaikutuksiltaan edullinen yhdyskuntarakenne ja liikennejarjestelma.Tutkimus- ja kehitysohjelman yhteenveto ja arviointi

The LYYLI Research and Development Programme has been a wide, multidisciplinary co-operation project of many funding parties. The programme was launched in spring 1997, and it was closed in autumn 2002. The aim of the summary and evaluation of the programme is to create a short overview of the preliminary objectives and contents of the programme, to explain how the working was organised at the steering group level, co-ordination level, and monitoring group level as well as to outline the original ideas of how to organise the information activities. The final chapters of the evaluation include the following points: The most important LYYLI-research lessons are presented including the evaluation of the usage of the research results in planning and decision-making, and some concluding points concerning the functional heritage issues of the LYYLI programme.
