Implementing Intelligent Agents into a Vehicle for Providing Personalised Services and Support to the Driver
The introduction of current solutions in informing and supporting the driver are hampered by the limitation of the in-vehicle hybrid systems. As drivers have different driving styles, competencies (i.e. reaction time, position at the lane, following distance), and preferences, personalization is needed. This paper focuses on alternative architectures that are being developed and applied on a Personalized System within a vehicle, based on Intelligent Agents, either connecting it externally via a Nomad device, or integrating it in the in-vehicle systems.
