Road asset management: the principles and the people
In this paper, the authors examine elements of the asset management process that contribute to the outcomes of sustainability and risk management. These drivers are the principles adopted to arrive at the outcomes and the people that enable those principles. The authors identify the principles adopted for a successful system and discuss the development of asset management professionals that make the outcomes viable.
