Site investigation update (2001-2005)

This issue of Current Topics includes over 65 abstracts of reports, conference papers, books and journal articles which focus on the planning and practice of site investigation for road, bridge and tunnel building in all kinds of ground. Topics include data acquisition and storage, simulation, expert systems, and advanced techniques such as ground penetrating radar surveys. These items have been selected from the material added to the Transport Research Laboratory's Library Database between 2001 and 2005. Much of the relevant English language published literature from the UK, USA, Australia and Europe is included; some of the non-UK literature is included courtesy of the OECD International Transport Research Documentation (ITRD) database.
