Road safety aspects of the 'Bypasses for accessibility' concept: analysis of the TNO Inro concept in the perspective of Sustainably-Safe
Veiligheidsaspecten van het concept 'Bypasses voor bereikbaarheid': analyse van het concept van TNO Inro in het perspectief van Duurzaam Veilig
TNO Inro's accessibility concept contains a proposal that could lead to a considerable improvement in the traffic flow and a reduction in the number of traffic casualties. SWOV assesses the road safety effects in this study and, simultaneously proposes a way of ensuring that the road classification that TNO Inro is introducing meets the requirements of Sustainably-Safe Road Traffic.
