Monitoring and identification of time dependent random variables
In this paper the influences of monitoring systems on the lifetime planning of structures are discussed in more detail. The safety standard should take into account the reduced uncertainties due to the lifetime of the structure and the information obtained from inspections. Regarding this thematic area, an approach for the required safety indexes is worked out. A concept is introduced for the safety standard design in regard to the ductility of systems, the load carrying behaviour - robustness as well as regarding the load qualities and monitoring systems. This concept of the safety standard design must be utilized together with probabilistic software programs combined with identification algorithms. Such software programs play a central role in the description of the time-dependent reliability standard and therefore also for the inspection planning. For the covering abstract see ITRD E126028.
