PROTECTIVE HELMETS FOR MOTORCYCLISTS - FRENCH STANDARD
CASQUE DE PROTECTION POUR MOTOCYCLISTES - NORME FRANCAISE
The objective of this standard is to define the main characteristics of the aptitude to use of standard protective helmets for motorcyclists and the tests designed to verify these characteristics. It applies to all helmets including integral helmets which cover the lower part of the face. Details are also given of the marking of helmets with fluorescent and reflecting elements. This standard does not apply to helmets worn by motorcyclists taking part in sporting competitions.
