Integrated Information Provision By Travel Support Portal Website �Michi-navi Toyota’ And Its Evaluation
City of Toyota had been eager to use ITS technologies with information provision through the Internet and mobile phone to support drivers� and pedestrians� travels. This attempt, however, were getting apart users� needs changing with the progress of technologies and variation of their life styles. As a result of reconsideration of the existing system and contents, we decided a construction of a new integrated information provision system utilizing GIS. This system interface is the portal website �Michi-navi Toyota� with not only applying several media but the cooperation of other organizations� system. This paper makes it clear what the integrated information provision is for, the details and function with its evaluation of the system and future deployment.
