Danish Automated Parking

A new housing development in Denmark’s capital, Copenhagen, has eliminated parking cars on the street for longer than 15 minutes. This required the development of an automated parking system. Authorities began researching possible companies and found that Europe was far ahead of the U.S. in terms of unmanned, automated parking systems. In addition to finding that there were great differences between the types of systems offered, authorities also discovered that it was difficult to compare and contrast the advantages and disadvantages of the various types and models of parking systems. Ultimately, a consulting group established a standard calculation program to enable the group to determine their best option.
