Guidelines for Marking Multi-lane Roundabouts
The purpose of these guidelines is to assist designers in providing the most appropriate pavement markings for existing and proposed multi-lane roundabouts in New Zealand. The 'Alberta' method for line marking of multi-lane roundabouts is described; and spiral curve pavement markings for right turning traffic in multi-lane roundabouts is discussed. A number of figures illustrate the various types of multi-lane roundabouts in New Zealand.
