Modeling Intra-Household Interactions and Group Decision-Making

This is the inaugural edition of the annual Special Issue of "Transportation" comprising selected papers presented at the Annual Meeting of the Transportation Research Board (TRB) in January 2005. Two standing committees of TRB's Division A (Technical Activities), the Committee on Traveler Behavior and Values and the Committee on Travel Demand Forecasting, receive papers to be considered for presentation at the TRB Annual Meeting, held each January in Washington, D.C. A portion of those papers which are selected for presentation are published in the "Transportation Research Record: Journal of the Transportation Research Board." Among those papers not published by TRB, five have been selected for publication in this Special Issue of "Transportation." These five papers address the topic of intra-household interactions and group decision making.
