A New Way of Predicting Elastic Modulus of Normal and High Strength Concrete - Fuzzy Logic
This paper presents a new fuzzy approach to predict elastic modulus of both normal strength concrete and high strength concrete Numerical investigation is carried out and the fuzzy results are compared with those of test data and some other available in literature. The numerical results reveal a good agreement between the test and fuzzy results. To have an objective comparison of the performance of the models against the experimental results, the error measure of the root mean square error was computed for each model. The variances were computed for each model and experiment.
