General Conditions for Stability Tests of Mound Breakwaters
The State Ports of Spain, the seven Spanish maritime engineering laboratories, and the University of Granada have been working together on the influence of wave reflection on the stability of rubble-mound breakwaters. With several laboratories working together, it is of great importance to ensure that their results are fully comparable. With this in view, and prior to performing the tests, all factors that could have a bearing on the experimental results were analyzed. This has resulted in a standard methodology for running the tests, which is the object of this paper.
