Investigation on Road Traffic Safety of the Mountain Areas in Southwest China Based on Wulong County, Chongqing Municipality
The study conducted field investigations on the present traffic conditions of Wulong County, including characteristics and main problems, in order to seek countermeasures for an improvement in traffic safety in the mountainous areas of Southwest China, specifically in Wulong County. The results clearly indicate that the crashes closely relate to imperfect road design, defective execution of traffic laws, imperfect management along with environmental factors.
