BUSH BUDGET: $284 BILLION TEA-21 REAUTHORIZATION BILL, SMALL INCREASES IN 2006 HIGHWAY & TRANSIT INVESTMENT LEVELS

This article analyzes the details of the $284 billion TEA-21 reauthorization bill, which include small increases in 2006 highway and transit investment levels, up 5.5 percent when adjusted for inflation. The article breaks out individual allotments to modes such as mass transit, the Federal Aviation Administration and Amtrak.
