ROAD, AGROCHEMISTRY AND SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT
At a time when the environmental protection becomes a problem both political and societal, the road companies were mobilized by setting up strategies of sustainable development. The efforts of the profession are significant in the field of the medical risk of people but also in that of the valorization of recovery or recycling of roadways materials. In a more original way, this communication describes how, in addition to the health, hygiene and safety aspects for men and installations, taking into account the environmental question allowed, by using tools such as life cycle analysis, to conclude an ambitious project: the substitution, in all their road uses, of fluxing oil by derivatives of agriculture. The communication also illustrates the impact of this project in terms of industrial outlets for agriculture. For the covering abstract see ITRD E121480.
