PE PIPE ADAPTS TO STORM WATER APPLICATIONS

The use of corrugated high density polyethylene (HDPE) pipes in storm water management is growing. Because HDPE is very resistant to chemicals and corrosion, it has a significant longterm strength advantage over concrete and metal pipe. The article relates how city storm water drainage projects and state roadway projects have made effective use of HDPE.
