AUTOMATIC LOADING AND UNLOADING OF INLAND CONTAINER BARGES. IN: MARINE TECHNOLOGY IV
This paper deals with the future design of inland barge service centers, and attempts to determine the characteristic movements of a typical inland vessel under normal circumstances. This is carried out by executing computations with systematic variation of parameters. The results of these computations are presented, and conclusions are drawn with respect to the feasibility of automatic loading and unloading of inland vessels and containers.
