SPECIAL JOINING, FIBERGLASS PIPE, STAR IN NEW ICE SUPPRESSION SYSTEM

A special method of joining fiberglass pipe to a successful underwater pipe system in Michigan is outlined. Warm water discharged from power plant is used to keep shipping lanes ice-free.
