DEFINING THE WAVE CLIMATE FOR A HARBOR
A review of the literature is presented on the problems associated with the external wave climate for the harbors and port facilities. Case studies of each of the problems discussed are described. With these needs defined, this paper explores the means available for defining the two wave climates and considers their applicability to the design of real harbors.
