DYNAMIC MODELLING OF PRESSURE VESSLES AND PIPING SYSTEMS
The Author reviews dynamic modelling of pressure vessels and piping systems. It is intended to provide a background for identifying current problems and limitations. Recommendations and expected benefits from future research are also covered. General-purpose finite-element computer programs are the foundation for dynamic analysis, and the most widely used programs are listed, as well as the more specialised programs for piping systems.
