RAIL CORRUGATION
RIFFELBILDUNG BEI SCHIENEN
Presentation of a new theory on rail corrugation, making it possible to assess the effects of levelling, sub-soil rigidity, axle-loads and wheel diameter. This theory is based on stresses occurring in the rail bed during manufacture (and which change during the wear process), also on stresses (due to loads) caused by the wheels.
