TESTING BRIDGES IN SITU
This provisional recommendation was agreed at the meeting of the committee on the in-situ testing of structures, which was held in Liege, 1st to 3rd June 1975 (no 20 tbs). The aim of testing bridges in situ is to verify whether their static and dynamic behaviour is correct and to control their behaviour under ordinary and long-term loads. This recommendation deals with two types of tests: acceptance loading tests and periodical control tests. Details are given of the test procedure, criteria for evaluating the tests and presentation of the results. /TRRL/
