CALCULATION OF LOADS ON A SHIP IN A SEAWAY-COMPUTER PROGRAM TAUROG
The Author dicusses the computer program TAUROG and its capabilities. Based on the strip method and written in Fortran, it is for use in calculating ship motions in the vertical degrees of freedom (heaving and pitching) and the horizontal degrees (rolling, yawing, and swaying), and the corresponding loads on the complete hull structure. It is mentioned inter alia that a separate report is being made on comparisons carried out between results calculated with the program and those obtained experimentally. Order from BSRA as No. 47,319.
