Organisation of the Maschen marshalling yard involves a massive data-processing system. 325 employees at 25 auxiliary stations take part in these operations, using 120 terminals. These employees undergo on-the-spot training by means of a specially converted bus; the equipment of this bus and the training programme are described in detail.
