INTEGRATED LAND-USE & TRANSPORT MODELING. THE STRUCTURE OF THE LAND-USE MODEL
The focus of this research is integrated land use and transport modeling. A result of previous research in this area is the SPIRIT decision support system for an integrated analysis of policies on the field of land use and transport. The role of spatial planning is introduced and the SPIRIT system is described. Problem setting and objectives, a description of spatial system and concept for spatial modeling are also discussed.
