NATIONAL MODEL SYSTEM FOR PRIVATE TRAVEL REPORT ON PHASE 4 OF MODEL DEVELOPMENT

DEN NASJONALE PERSONTRANSPORTMODELLEN

The National Model System of Private Travel is now updated as Version 4. The model system consists of disaggregate models of four frequency, mode and destination choice for long and short distance travel. The model systems also include aggregate and disaggregate license holdings as well as models of joint car ownership and usage. This report documents the establishment of updated input data for calibration, the estimation of a new model of long distance travel and examples of aggregated demand elasticities.
