PRESSURE MEASUREMENTS ON AN ANTI-NOISE SCREEN WHILE DB HIGH-SPEED TRAINS ARE PASSING
DRUCKMESSUNGEN AN EINER SCHALLSCHUTZWAND BEI SCHNELLFAHRTEN DER DEUTSCHEN BUNDESBAHN
These pressures were measured on two different types of anti-noise screen, for train speeds from 120 km/h to 250 km/h. The article describes the measuring procedure and gives results in diagrams, and goes on to explain a mathematical method for calculating aerodynamic pressures devised by Fukuchi and resulting from the analogy of form between equations for fluid movements and those for the theory of electrical potentials.
