RAIL HAS YET TO REACH ITS TECHNICAL POTENTIAL
The World Congress of Railway Research (WCRR) will, at its annual conference this month, strive to provide a new opportunity to spark a railway renaissance. The focus will be Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) technology and its role for the railway industry. Discussed are advanced systems, such as automated control systems, electronic headway protection, diagnostic systems, energy storage, among others.
