BETTER UTILIZATION OF ENERGY SHOWN AT THE EXAMPLES OF RAILROADS AND DISTRICT HEATING
WEGE ZUM RATIONELLEN ENERGIEVERBRAUCH, GEZEIGT AM BEISPIEL DES SCHIENENVERKEHRS UND DES NIEDERTEMPERATURWAERMEBEDARFS
The article presents two examples of rational utilization of energy. The emphasis is placed on heat pumps operated by gas engines that require less energy both for heating and hot water supply. The switching from steam locomotives to diesel engines or electric locomotives has greatly reduced the consumption of energy.
