LA MANOEUVRE DES NAVIRES

Statistical uses of manoeuvring test results for the purpose of defining manoeuvrability criteria and appreciating ship handling qualities are put forward. The manoeuvring problems in harbour vicinity, influence of human factor, and definition of controllability indices are presented.
