IDENTIFICATION OF HAZARDOUS LOCATIONS: EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The objective of the research project within which this Executive Summary was prepared was to develop procedures of identifying hazardous locations on all highway facilities except freeways and in the Central Business District (CBD). Both accident and non-accident measures or indicators are included in the formula proposed for establishing degrees of hazardousness at spot locations within the highway system. /FHWA/
