SEISMIC RETROFIT STUDY OF RC RECTANGULAR BRIDGE COLUMNS LAP-SPLICED AT THE PLASTIC HINGE ZONE
A study on seismic retrofit and repair techniquesof the existing RC (reinforced concrete) rectangular bridge columns lap spliced at the plastic hinge zone is presented. The design and construction of the study to simulate the worst case scenario in Taiwan prior to 1987 is presented.
