EVALUATION OF MOVING RADAR
An evaluation of the accuracy and range of the MR7 moving radar device was performed in a variety of operating situations. Findings include that the device is accurate to within plus or minus 2 mph, that it has an average operating range of 750 feet, that, within these limits, it can be used with the antenna mounted both inside and outside the patrol vehicle, and that it will provide speed measurements across wide medians. /Author/
