TRANSPORT PRIORITIES FOR LABOUR'S SECOND TERM
Attitudes to the privatisation of transport services in the UK and effective policies for the financing of improvements are discussed. The necessity of streamlining the planning process so that transport improvements may be delivered promptly, and of ensuring that competition policy is applied appropriately to public transport is stressed.
