HIGHWAYS' HIDDEN ASSETS : THERE ARE POTENTIAL BENEFITS TO PLACING MAJOR HIGHWAYS UNDERGROUND, PARTICULARLY IN LARGE CITIES
This article gives an overview of tunnel construction projects that will be using Automatic Incident Detection Systems (AIDs) for incident management in tunnels. Examples include the Sodra Lanken tunnel in Stockholm, the Warnow Tunnel in Rostock, Germany, and the Port Tunnel in Dublin, Ireland.
