VERSASKIP UPDATES OLD TECHNOLOGY

This article highlights a new striping skip controller called VersaSkip. VersaSkip controls the timing of the firing of the paint guns and the temperature at which the paint is put down. This information and other data are recorded for onscreen display or downloading. Operators can select from a variety of prerecorded patterns, and can record and save patterns for later use. One of the most impressive features is the integrated stroke counter, which counts the number of strokes that the paint pump takes and then converts this number into gallons pumped. VersaSkip is aimed at original equipment manufacturers but can be retrofitted to older trucks.
