A closure to a discussion regarding a paper with the aforementioned title and authors is presented. The original paper was published in this journal (Volume 4, Number 4, November 2000, pp 182-190) and the discussion was published in this journal (Volume 6, Number 1, February 2002, p 70). The authors respond to discusser A. Kilpatrick's comments and requests for clarification on their paper, which concerned the behavior of glass fiber reinforced polymer reinforced concrete beams and slabs.
