AUTOMOTIVE INDUSTRY TRENDS IN ELECTRONICS : YEAR 2000 SURVEY OF SENIOR EXECUTIVES
This study presents the results from a survey in which automotive executives were queried regarding the future of automobile electronics. The survey focused on the top ten concerns for future electrical and electronics applications, trends, and the primary issues which cause automotive executives the most concern. Areas addressed included dealing with OEMs and suppliers, the pace of change, the competitive focus on current major organizations, concerns about relations for telematics, and the need for standards.
