VEHICULAR AIR POLLUTION: SETTING PRIORITIES
Air pollution is considered a serious problem in many South Asia cities. Transportation is held primarily responsible for pollution, and many city governments have adopted, or are considering, technological measures to try to reduce vehicular emissions. A framework for the appraisal and selection of appropriate measures in the sector is outlined in this note.
