SURVEY OF THE PERFORMANCE OF INFANT AUTO RESTRAINT SYSTEMS SOLD IN THE UNITED STATES AND CANADA
This study was designed to obtain dynamic test data on infant devices specified for use in automobiles. Twenty-one dynamic impact tests were conducted, and ten tests were reported on that were run at an earlier time and/or by other testing facilities. The results give head and seat excursions, belt loads as well as sled parameters. High speed movies (1000 fps) were taken for all tests. Detail test results are given as well as a summary data sheet on all tests. /HSRI/
