CARS FOR DISABLED PEOPLE - A GUIDE TO CHOOSING AND ADAPTING A CAR
Whether a disabled person wishes to drive a car himself or use it as a passenger, the car has been designed for the able-bodied and may not be entirely suitable for the disabled user. The report provides information on the choice of vehicle and sources of further information. Adaptations which are possible for car controls are described as well as equipment for the disabled user. Eight current cars frequently chosen by disabled persons are reviewed, concentrating on design features of particular interest to the disabled user. /TRRL/
