This paper discusses the detailed organization and management of the journey of Anne of Denmark from Scotland to Windsor in June 1603. The scale and the role of the Queen's escort of noblemen, noblewomen, and servants; the means of transport employed; and the accommodations provided during the journey are reconstructed and analyzed. The Queen's escort set out from Whitehall on May 2 and arrived in Windsor almost 9 weeks later on June 30, 1603.
