ST. JOHNSBURY, VERMONT : BIG ACTION FOR A MIGHTY SMALL TOWN
This article gives a sentimental look at St. Johnsbury, Vermont in 1980. A small railroad town, and headquarters of the short line St. Johnsbury & Lamoille County (StJ&LC), St. Johnsbury also saw three other railroads run their course through the town: Canadian Pacific, Maine Central, and Boston & Maine. At the intersection of three bridge routes, the town saw a lot of interchange activity. The article also includes series of pictures depicting train life in St. Johnsbury.
