GUEST COMMENTARIES: THE SUBURBANIZATION OF THE PARIS REGION
This brief presents commentary by a French transport official on urban sprawl/suburbanization in the metropolitan Paris area. The focus is on the reasons why Paris does not expect a corresponding increase in traffic congestion even though the city's dependence by residents on automobile travel is also expected to increase.
