SLOW, YOU'RE ON TRAFFIC CAMERA
After a study showed that 85% of Lakewood, WA's drivers drove at least 10 miles per hour over the speed limit on city streets, the city is deploying vans equipped with speed-checking cameras near schools and installing cameras at key intersections to photograph red-light runners. The photographs will be used to issue tickets to the vehicles' registered owners.
