PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION SERVICE MODELS
Programs and procedures for delivering transportation services vary from community to community to meet a variety of lifestyle needs. Innovative programs have evolved beyond the traditional bus services typically found in urban areas to efficiently deliver transportation services to maintain the mobility of older people living in urban, suburban, and rural communities. This paper lists and discusses several public transportation service models to illustrate the broad range of options available.
