MEMORY--ITS RELIABILITY IN THE RECALL OF LONG DISTANCE BUSINESS TRAVEL
A survey was conducted among TRRL staff to measure how well they remembered their business journeys over a period of up to eight months. Their recollections were compared with their Travel Claim Records for accuracy of date, distance and mode. Figures which could have application in grossing up future studies involving similar recall periods were derived. /Author/
