VISIBILITY OF SIGNALIZATION ALONG MOTORWAYS: A LITERATURE-EVALUATION

The visual aspects of signalization along Dutch motorways are evaluated by means of existing modern literature. It is concluded that there is little reason for changing the existing regulations apart from recommending that more traffic signs should be illuminated during darkness. /TRRL/
